Middle School Curriculum – Integrated 2025

Amistades Futuras, is a unique and comprehensive thematic middle school curriculum which is appropriate for grades 6-8.  Every unit is comprised of student resource pages which students keep in a three-ringer binder, ultimately building their own text book. The material in this curriculum meets or exceeds national foreign language standards and readies students for formal high school Spanish through complex vocabulary, conversation, and grammatical instruction.
Some unique features:
  • Students have the opportunity to practice all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing
  • Students are taught using multiple intelligences in lessons that can be kinesthetic, musical/rhythmic, interpersonal and outgoing, intrapersonal and reflective, visual/spatial, logical/mathematic, linguistic, naturalistic, or any combination of variation of the above.
  • Regular homework and assessments are provided to consistently track students’ progress.
  • Real-world connections are made throughout the lessons to bring material alive.
